An Olympic Post(er)

A Montage of Winter Olympic Posters...

We love the Olympics in our house! TV watching as we know it is temporarily suspended as we celebrate the triumphs, and weep over the tragic losses, with athletes around the world.

Seeing this succession of posters brings back memories of the first winter games that I can recall—Innsbruck. Some are extremely memorable and others completely forgettable. I suppose the hosting city/country may have something to do with it. The romance of Innsbruck. The exotic surprise of Nagano. Places that sound fabulous like St. Moritz…

Victoria, British Columbia

A Wee Bit of England...in Cananda!

I returned recently from a trip to beautiful and historic Victoria, British Columbia. It was a girls’ trip with my two sisters but it would also be a lovely trip for a family.
